Randy Travis has been a mainstay of the country scene for 25 years, with amazing accolades including over 25 million albums sold with 22 number one hits, 6 number one albums, 6 Grammy’s, 6 CMA’s, 9 ACM’s, 10 AMA’s and 7 Dove awards – and of course, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

 

For this new album, Randy has reunited with Warner Bros. Records and his latest album, Around the Bend, is being heralded as the perfect country album. Around the Bend does not have a single out-of-place note nor a false emotion; Randy’s vocals have never sounded more expressive, better phrased or more soulfully shaded. The album’s production is a model of crisp clarity with each instrumental texture placed just right. Randy reunited with long time friend and producer, Kyle Lehning, to record Around the Bend and the result of their collaboration on this album is nothing short of amazing.

 

Along with his full-time music career, Randy has also become an accomplished actor over the years. In addition to TV guest appearances on Matlock, Touched By An Angel and Texas, his film credits include “The Rainmaker” (Jon Voigt, Matt Damon, Danny DeVito), “Black Dog” (Patrick Swayze), “Fire Down Below” (Steven Seagal), “The White River Kid” (Antonio Benderas), “Texas Rangers” (Dylan McDermott, James Van Der Beek), “The Visitation,” and a starring role in “The Wager” with Jude Ciccolella and Nancy Stafford.
