K96.3 Kelowna’s Classic Rock is pleased to present George Thorogood and the Destroyers live in concert at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
With a fusion of roots rock, roots blues and endless boogie, George Thorogood and the Destroyers have spent more than 35 years running up and down the highways and byways of the world, getting people on their feet and moving their tail feathers. The band has released sixteen studio albums, including two that were certified Platinum and six that have been certified Gold, and has sold fifteen million albums worldwide.
Being the Victoria Day Long Weekend, both locals and visitors from outside the Okanagan Valley will have the opportunity to see a true legend “live and up close”. Thorogood is best known for his animated stage presence and loud, raucous electric slide guitar playing and is set to perform classic hits like ‘Who Do You Love?’, ‘One Bourbon One Scotch One Beer’, ‘Move It On Over’, ‘Bad To the Bone’ and many more!
