Their second album "Masterpiece Theatre" was released February 2009 and the single "Cross My Heart" has also hit number one on MuchMusic. Next in line is Canadian Pop-Punk band Faber Drive. Originating in Mission, BC, Faber Drive's debut album, Seven Second Surgery, was released in the spring of 2007 with hits including “Tongue Tied”, “When I’m With You” and “Second Chance”. Faber Drive pride themselves on their live shows, and the energy they deliver on-stage is captured and canned on "Sex and Love," the powerful and infectious song that won them the title of Vancouver's best band in 2006.

Fusing an underground edge with mainstream melodies, The Latency is the newest breed of band that will make you stand up and notice.  Hailing from Maple Ridge BC, the Latency was formed two years ago and released their debut album “Chomp” in July of 2008. Produced by Tommy Mac from Hedley, the album is the culmination of months of collaboration and writing with singer/guitarist Brandon Lehti bringing “melody to the madness with pop-infused vocal hooks over hard and heavy riffs.” Guitarist Ryan Stead balances out the pop with metal infused riffs and technicality, while bass player Matthew Gendron locks down the low end. Jonny Wiebe, drummer extraordinaire, is the newest member.

Kicking the concert off will be Victoria, BC native’s the Armchair Cynics. After winning a west coast battle-of-the-bands, Armchair Cynics independently released the EP
Coffee Shop Confessions in 2003 and began building a fan base while playing increasingly high profile gigs. The single “Surprise Ending” scored local FM rock radio airplay and earned regular spins on Canada’s Galaxy satellite service. This spring, the Armchair Cynics released a full-length album called Starting Today with top tracks including “Bang”, “Coalmine” and “Surprise Ending”.
